Cameron Njomo is a Senior Program Analyst at the Center for Regional Economic Competitiveness (CREC). In this role, he leads content development for major annual conferences, including those of the Council for Community and Economic Research (C2ER), the Labor Market Information (LMI) Institute, and the University Economic Development Association (UEDA). He also supports CREC’s qualitative research portfolio, contributing to projects that advance regional economic and workforce development.
Before joining CREC, Cameron served as a graduate research assistant examining the post-pandemic fiscal conditions of local nonprofits. He also worked with the Loudoun County Department of Family Services, where he engaged directly with community members to improve access to critical human services.
Cameron holds dual B.A. degrees in Psychology and Sociology, with a minor in Black American Studies, from the University of Delaware. He earned his Master of Public Administration and a Graduate Certificate in Public Management from George Mason University.
